Stoyan founded STOK Engineering in 2002 and built his first donut machine in 2004. He has been refining the design ever since, with in-house manufacturing in Bulgaria.

Outside of work, he cares for rescued animals.

Daniel joined the family business in 2010, helping bring its machines to 50+ countries. In 2023, he founded Donut Machines in the USA to make buying equipment and supplies straightforward.

A Yale MBA alum, he lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two cats.

  1. 2002Stoyan founds STOK Engineering in Bulgaria, serving the food and beverage industry.
  2. 2004In-house manufacturing begins. Stoyan builds the first donut machine.
  3. 2010Daniel joins the family business, helping bring its machines to customers around the world.
  4. 2023Daniel launches Donut Machines in the USA, making it easier to explore and order equipment.
